 | Chamber Cluster Information |
|
The mission of the Chamber’s Networking Clusters is to provide opportunities for businesspersons to meet on a weekly basis to develop a greater understanding of each other’s products and/or services and to establish relationships that foster mutual trust and respect. Business referrals are a natural outgrowth of the relationship-building that occurs in the clusters.
Membership in each cluster is generally limited to one business per business category, unless the existing member consents to another like-for-like business joining. The majority of members in each cluster have a natural “affinity” for each other, thus stimulating referrals.
Each Cluster establishes it’s own rules, programs and meeting agenda, and meets at least three times during the month, on a day and time agreed to by the members. Dues are established by the cluster, and generally includes lunch or breakfast.
Participation means commitment! All members of the cluster are dependent on each other’s commitment to attend meetings. Failure to do so diminishes the success and objectives of the cluster. More than two unexcused absences in a three-month period will result in being dropped from the cluster. Exceptions to this rule must be approved by the Cluster and the president of the chamber.
Membership in a cluster is on-going until such time as the member advises the chamber, via fax or email, of withdrawal from the cluster. Failure to advise the chamber, via email or in writing, by the first meeting of the month, will result in a billing for that month.
