Two Monthly Business Mixers The NVRCC offers two monthly networking Mixers with an average attendance of over 50 people at each. Mixers are open to all members and their staff. Mixers provide an opportunity to exchange ideas and business leads with other members. This casual event is hosted by our members and is a great way to introduce your business to the NVRCC. Mixer #1 usually occurs on the second Thursday of the month and Mixer #2 usually occurs on the third Wednesday. Monthly Networking Breakfast The monthly Networking Breakfast is a great opportunity to be acquainted with other businesses, exchange business referrals, and develop new relationships. Average attendance is around 80 guests. Each month a member of the NVRCC sponsors the breakfast. The breakfast sponsor gets the opportunity to speak at the event for up to five minutes, in addition to getting the opportunity to place any information directly in front of each guest's seat. The Networking Breakfast typically occurs the fourth Tuesday of every month at 7:00am, at the Porter Valley Country Club. Annual Installation Luncheon & C.K. Tseng Leadership Award Ceremony Every year the NVRCC holds its Installation Luncheon where we see our new Board of Directors publicly sworn in. The politicians and top level community activists come out in full force to support the NVRCC and it's truly our "black tie" event of the year. In addition, this event also honors the recipient of the C.K. Tseng Community Leadership Award, established last year in honor of influential business advocate and community activist, C.K. Tseng. 5k Marathon Get those running shoes on! Last year we organized our first ever 5k Marathon and it was a huge success. This exciting event was designed as a mutually beneficial fundraiser for two of our community's most vital assets; local schools and businesses. Get ready for what promises to be a day promoting education, commerce, and healthy lifestyles! Farmer's Market Every summer the Northridge Fashion Center organizes their Farmer's Market every Wednesday. The NVRCC gets a community booth at this event and it's open to two of our members every week. Reservations to participate in the Farmer's Market are on a first come, first serve basis. Halloween Bash The ghosts are haunting. The monsters will mash. Get ready for our annual Halloween Bash! Every October we organize a community Halloween party open to the public.
